Call for presentations for SCANZ Conference 2024

We are now welcoming submissions for this year’s conference.

We’d like to encourage everyone to apply, whether you’re a seasoned presenter, or you’ve never presented before.

If you’re unsure about anything, or you have an idea but you need some help figuring out how it might fit into our conference, please contact us on hello@scanz.co.nz

Speakers and session presenters who wish to attend more than solely their session will be required to register for the conference.

There will be opportunities to present on each day of the conference, including:

• 15-20 minute talks

• Workshops with participant engagement

• Panel discussions with multiple speakers

• Lightning talks (5-minutes)

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Please submit your proposal via the form on this page by the following deadlines:

• Workshops and Panels: Closed.

• Talks (15-20min and Lightning): Closed.

You will need to:

• Provide a title + outline of the presentation content (100-200 words), as well as any additional information you’d like us to know.

• Tell us which formats would suit your presentation.

• List all the session participants and their professional affiliations.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Applicants will be informed if their session proposal is successful within a week of submission close. Please contact us if you need to know earlier whether you’ve been accepted.

• SCANZ will not cover registration, travel or accommodation costs if your proposal is accepted.

• Speakers and session presenters who wish to attend more than solely their session will be required to register for the conference.
