Twitter 101 – get tweeting and be heard

  • Enterprise Precinct and Innovation Campus 76/106 Manchester Street Christchurch, Canterbury, 8011 New Zealand (map)

Have you heard of Twitter but don’t know what to do with it, or signed up but still not entirely sure how to use it effectively? Or have you been told that you should have a more public profile or feel that you should?

Get up to speed with networking via social media in this hands-on fun afternoon workshop. We’ll cover why and how to enter social media gracefully.

We’ll also delve into different ways to use Twitter and how to use the tools to efficiently manage your (or your companies) social presence.

You’ll get to set up your own Twitter account, get loads of tips of how to use it from the basics to covering etiquette and ethics and analytics.

You’ll also get practical time to test out writing posts, scheduling tweets, and writing an effective profile, all with opportunities for discussion and fellow attendee feedback.
